In his first press conference as Egypt’s Foreign Minister, Nabil El-Araby stated Egypt wants direct relations to resume with Iran. Egypt and Iran have been at odds for decades due to enormous conflicts of interest surrounding Egypt’s strong relations with the United States and Israel.
